Successful premiere of the TBO inspection in America!

edm aerotec successfully performed the first Time-Between-Overhaul (TBO) inspection in the USA. Our customer, Piasecki Aircraft Corporation, proud owner of two CoAX 2D helicopters, was very satisfied with our performance. In addition, an American mechanic was trained on the CoAX 2D so that he can now carry out inspections independently.

Thanks to the high payload of the CoAX 2D, Piasecki Aircraft Corporation is planning various experimental installations and flight tests. Particularly exciting is the planned project to convert the drive of the CoAX 2D to an electric motor powered by hydrogen.
